Answers to most of the web design questions I receive.

Every project is different, so there’s no single answer to this question, unfortunately.

That being said, I do offer affordable website design packages that address the average needs of most service-based websites.

Packages range from one page starter websites to websites with 7 or more pages.

Being local helps, but it isn’t absolutely necessary if you aren’t too worried about meeting in person. We can still communicate through video conferencing, email and telephone to get all of the information we’ll be needing and I can effectively research your competition and geographical areas online easily enough.
All projects vary in terms of scope, but I can usually have a website completed within 30 days. This depends on your availability and receiving the information I need, but I can typically get a small to medium sized service business website up and running within a month.
Yes, all of my websites are created using the WordPress platform. WordPress controls roughly 35% of the internet’s websites, is flexible, open-source and you will be able to use it anywhere.
The website will be completely under YOUR control, so you can make changes to it or have someone else take care of that for you.
Yes. We can arrange for me to take care of content, plugin, theme and WordPress updates, along with security and backups as well.
Yes. These days, ensuring your website is mobile-friendly is an absolute must that should be included by all website designers.
Yes. While designing websites, I make sure that every section displays properly on Tablet devices as well.
Depending on the package and services you choose, payments can range from up-front to a few installments. Either way, I’ll typically request a down-payment and we will both agree to a payment schedule.
If you want it, quite a bit. I’ll be asking you questions about your business, its strengths, what makes you unique, examples of websites you like and more.
If you’re up for it, it’s usually best if the information comes from you. As the business owner, you are the expert in your field. If not, I will provide you with some point-form questions that you can answer and I will create the content from there. In custom cases, I will use a professional writer (additional fees would apply).
Your WordPress website should be hosted with a company that offers speed, security, backups and more. Not all hosting companies are equal (or provide equal value) and I will provide you with the best hosting company options.
I offer a one-page “Starter Website” package that provides maximum value and gives you everything you need to get up and running.
